Description:
Traditional vinification using the “saignée” method. Colour varies from a pale Salmon to vivid rose according to the vintage. The bouquet has notes of raspberries and blackberries. The body of the wine is predominantly red fruits, mandarin and pepper. It has good acidity.
Perfect accompaniment to summer meals, strawberries or salmon.
Ratings:
“This wine has quite a deep and vibrant satin pink hue. On the nose it has rather a rounded, minerally, pebbly, character, with some subtle, leafy liquorice notes. Good, full palate, structured, with leafy redcurrant fruit. This makes decent drinking, but it needs cellar time I think.” Champagne Information Bureau Tasting 2006.
