Description:
2000 was notable for a very high average temperature, the highest since 1956. The winter was mild and dry with no snow. August was hot and rainy with some hail but September was excellent weather. This enabled the region to pick a harvest of quite substantial size. Harvest started on 18 September and the quality of Jacquesson's crop was very high.
An assemblage was made using Pinot Noirs from Dizy (20%), Verzenay (20%) and Ay (10%) and Chardonnay from Avize Champ Cain (50%).
Bottling took place on 2 July without any prior filtration.
