Ratings:
93/100. “A tangy citrus- and nut-flavoured Champagne with a distinctive gum-tingling sensation. It starts out rich, turning lean and tightly wound on the finish. Fine coffee-tinged aftertaste. Drink now through 2020.” Wine Spectator.
“The most impressive 1996 vintage for current drinking, though there’s no hurry. A bargain too. Creamy, rich, full ripe, elegant peachy fruit. Ripe, very creamy with honeyed peachy fruit.” Decanter.
